German Wound Badges from 1957

(CS641) A lovely condition 1957 Gold Wound Badge being in design similar to the wartime counterpart but going back to the original tradition with no swastika on the helmet. Nice quality and condition with a nice gilt finish. Scarce to find. GBP 65.00 (UK Pounds)

(N839) A Nice 1957 Silver Wound Badge being made using original wartime parts and die, with only the swastika filled in and removed. The badge has a nice hinge and hook fitted, but has been used and worn.

First established by Kaiser Wilhelm II in 1918, the badge for wounded soldiers was re-established by the Wehrmacht during the Spanish Civil War, and then later at the beginning of the Second World War.
