    1957 CASED & PACKETED AWARDS

(J1116) A very rare early 1957 Para Badge in it's original Paper Packet of Issue. To start with, the para badge has an original WWII patterned wreath, as well as an original patterned eagle riveted to it. Examination of the feet show that it used to hold a swastika, but this has been cut when they have re-designed it. The award has the West German hinge, pin and hook fittings to the reverse and the overall quality of this award is very early. I have not had one in it's paper packet for many many years. Probably harder to acquire than it's wartime counterpart as a set like this. The paper packet is in very good condition although as been folded at the bottom. It has the full correct title printed to the front giving the institution date of 1936 and the re-institution date of 1957. It also then comes with a mini stick pin para badge a superb and complete set

    GBP £275.00 (UK Pounds)

    1957 AWARDS

(G1007) A scarce to find 1957 Eastern People's Medal of Merit 1st class. Very unusual to find as most of these medals in gold were awarded to Cossack's etc who were handed back at the end of the war so I can't see there would have been much call or demand for the manufacture of this.

    GBP £40.00 (UK Pounds)

(G1008) A scarce to find 1957 Eastern People's Medal of Merit 2nd class. Very unusual to find as most of these medals in gold were awarded to Cossack's etc who were handed back at the end of the war so I can't see there would have been much call or demand for the manufacture of this.

    GBP £40.00 (UK Pounds)

(G1011) A 1957 Croat Order of the Crown of King Zvonimir being of superb quality and condition and very rare to find. The award is of nice enamel finish and has the war bravery ribbon finish to the award also. Everything is the same quality as the original and it has a pin soldered to the reverse. This is where the '57 version differs from the wartime, with the back not being infilled in enamel and is the same as the 3rd class original, ie not plain as is the original wartime. Having said all this, the quality is very very nice and as such, a very scarce award to acquire in this pattern.

    GBP £110.00 (UK Pounds)

(H1447) A1957 1st Class Ostvolk Decoration in what appears to be a bronze metal, but is probably gilt and has turned over the years. Complete with it's original pin and hook fixing. Scarce to find as few of these have been claimed.

    GBP £65.00 (UK Pounds)

(H1448) An unusual 1957? 2nd Class Ostvolk in Silver. The medal is without swords and is of superb quality and construction and unlike any other 1957 example seen. Scarce to find.

    GBP £65.00 (UK Pounds)

(H1449)A 1957 2nd Class Ostvolk in Bronze in very good condition. Quite scarce to find as most of these people who were entitled to this award were handed back to the soviets and executed, hence very few take ups on this award.

    GBP £45.00 (UK Pounds)

1957 Long Service and Civil Awards for 1939 Replacements

(B321) A 1957 re issue Police 8 yr Service medal to be worn instead of the Third Reich held version in vgc

    GBP £25.00 (UK Pounds)

(G681) 1957 Armed Forces Long Service Award for 12 years in near mint condition being constructed of non magnetic metal. The reverse is identical to the original issue with the reverse having had the swastika removed. Complete with a piece of blue ribbon The award was part of a collection amassed by an American officer in the late '70's early '80's.

    GBP £20.00 (UK Pounds)

(G415) A nice early quality 1957 Horse Riders badge. The badge may in fact be a third reich one with a 1957 pin added. The badge is of very high quality and consruction and shows use and wear. In nice condition.
