Shown below is a copy of the Rare Army Balloon Badge in silver, This badge was brought, trade or impounded in 1946 as an original by a member of British Army intelligence who was based in Carinthia, Austria. As can be seen this is infact a Souval Item and clearly shows they were making this copies from as early as 1946! The badge is constructed of Zinc with a Silver plating appyled. These turn up ocasinally with alterd hooks and well the rest is history.
