ARM SHIELDSOF WORLD WAR TWO
(H1142) A nice Army Narvik Arm Shield in very nice condition. The shield is the zinc type that has a nice washed effect and was originally taken of a Deumer sales board. The paper backing that was applied has long since peeled, leaving the back plate which is magnetic, and four pins exposed. There is no mothing to the shield cloth backing and the shield is a nice honest example. GBP £225.00 (UK Pounds)
(H1006) A large size Lappland Shield of a type I have never encountered before. The shield was recently purchased in East Germany by a collector along with the Wehrpass showing the shield entered but the collector didn't wish to part with the wehrpass. The shield is of nice quality for a field manufactured item. Scarce to find. GBP £395.00 (UK Pounds)
(H1481) An Army Demjansk zinc Armshield, complete with it's original Luftwaffe cloth backing. The shield also has it's zinc back plate and it's paper backing is still intact. This shows nice brass pins to the reverse. Very nice to find. An identical one is shown in the book "Formans Guide to Third Reich German Awards and their Values" Third edition
on page 77, bottom item, where iti s stated that the shield belongs to Roger Bender Who stated to me in an e mail that he had had this shield since he was a child,Proving that these zinc shields have been around for a long time (SORRY ROGER !!!) GBP £250.00 (UK Pounds)
(J392) A nice Army Narvik Arm Shield being the type manufactured by the firm of Deumer as the eagle has the infill around the head. Something that this firm was known for. The shield has a
secondary backing cloth applied over the steel back plate. This then has two pins folded over and then has a counter piece of cloth glued, appearing to be a green army type material. The shield is in very nice condition and I would assume that it was put together two of the pins, broke, and they just stuck it down as it was as the shield appears to be near mint and unissued. GBP £235.00 (UK Pounds)
(J1046) A scarce to find Naval Narvik Arm Shield that has been stored away and so is age stained. The shield also has some staining to the navy blue backing but is still in vgc. The Arm Shield has only 3 of the the 4 folded pins that go through both the cloth and zinc back plate and these are then folded over and covered by a piece of black paper. Becoming increasingly hard to find, the navy issue is by far the rarer of the 3. The Narvik is the only one out of all the Arm Shields to have had a shield colour to distinguish the arm of service. GBP £325.00 (UK Pounds)
(J1173) A nice example of the Narvik Shield being the non magnetic type with the infills between the eagles head. The type is attributed to the firm of Deumer. The shield has gone slate grey and streaked, which is often the case for these. The shield comes on a piece of Luftwaffe cloth backing, this is in turn backed with a steel backing plate. The paper backing has long since gone and only three of the four pins remain. Still a nice shield. There is no mothing to the cloth backing. GBP £225.00 (UK Pounds)

1957 Re Issue (Replacement Issue) Arm Shields
These arm shield are the official West German Replacments as used by the West German Armed Forces after 1957
(J515) A 1957 Army/Navy Narvik Shield. The shield is complete with it's three prongs to the reverse and is of nice quality and construction. Becoming hard to find with only approximately 8500 wartime issued, fewer than this would have been issued in 1957 making it one of the more scarce shields to acquire. GBP £47.50 (UK Pounds)
- (F555) A 1957 Demjansk Arm Shield being of pressed brass metal silver plated.
This has worn in places, and one of the reverse pins is broken. In vgc
GBP £25.00(UK Pounds)
(G574) A 1957 Demjansk Arm Shield with all it's pin fixings to the reverse. In very good condition and acquired by a US officer in early '80's whilst stationed in Germany. Near mint condition. GBP £25.00(UK Pounds)

(H1432) A 1957 Demjansk Shield complete with three prongs to the reverse. In very nice condition, the shield was given to any of the 100,000 members of the Demjansk pocket who reserved in 1957. Scarce to find. GBP £35.00 (UK Pounds)
(J516) A 1957 Kuban Armshield complete with all four pins to the reverse intact. The shield is of nice quality and construction and has a nice factory lacquer applied over the shield. A scarce shield to acquire. Fewer of these than their '39 counterparts, would have been given out and so I feel these shields will rise steadily in the future. GBP £47.50 (UK Pounds)
(J517) A 1957 issue Krim Armshield in very nice condition, still with it's original factory lacquer finish. The shield has all four prongs to the reverse and was given for the battles in the Krimea region between 1941 and 1942. Reissued to the Bundeswehr in 1957, fewer of the qualifying soldiers would have re-inlisted and so these shields are quite hard to find nowadays. GBP £45.00 (UK Pounds)

Award Cuff Bands for World War 2
(J1622) A nice near mint example of a Kreta Cuffband. The band is the type machine embroidered onto a white cotton base cloth. The band has the yellow piping also machine sewn and is the type where the leaves touch around and in. The band is in very nice and clean condition and was part of a group of about 100 found in a bale a few years ago. This one comes from the centre and has never been used and worn although it is a little age stained. Unmounted and still virtually mint. GBP £325.00 (UK Pounds)

1957 Re Issue (Replacement Issue) Cuff Titles
These Cuff titles are the Official West German Replacments as used by the West German Armed Forces after 1957
(B1566) An early pattern Marksman's Lanyard being grade 2 as it has one acorn
hanging from it. The shield is complete and the back of the shield on the aluminium
brading has a piece of cloth sewn to it. There are two repairs to the Lanyard on
both button attachments as can be seen from the scan. Apart for that, the award is
in vgc. GBP £75.00(UK Pounds)
(F1369) An Army Marksman's Lanyard in used condition. The lanyard has had the bottom cord cut and has the top cord
where it joins the emblem, split. It appears this was done when it was removed from a tunic. The top cord and bottom could
be repaired if someone was so inclined, with a little care and attention. The lanyard emblem is nice and complete and
intact and in good condition other than this. This is for the lowest grade without acorn attachments.
GBP £50.00(UK Pounds)
(J730) A German Werhmacht Shooting Lanyard. The lanyard is for the lowest grade, being grade 1 and has an eagle holding a swastika on a shield. This is attached to the aluminium cord that has a green woollen backing behind the shield to stop it snagging. In very nice condition, the silver is bright, clean and unfrayed. Recently acquired in Germany from a house clearance. GBP £65.00 (UK Pounds)
(J1833) An Army Silver Drivers Badge in good condition. The badge is complete with it's cloth backing but doesn't have a metal back plate. There is also the remains of the paper backing which is a little mothed and pulled. Both pins are intact and the award is the standard hollow pressed type of zinc with two brass pins soldered to the reverse. A nice and underestimated award in my opinion. GBP £30.00 (UK Pounds)
(J1834) A nice unissued Silver Drivers Badge on a bluish cotton. The badge is still in it's original LDO cellophane packet that has LDO to the front and the guarantee terms to the back. There are some rust marks to show the pins have been there for several years in the packet. Other than this, the front of the badge is near mint. The back has little bits of paper falling off, other than this, it is ok. A nice unusual item to find, especially like this. GBP £65.00 (UK Pounds)
