knight, with a shield and eidelweiss guarding a mountain. It is logical to assume that this is for a mountain troop.

(D1440) A nice example of a used and worn Croat Navy Legion badge. The badge is the type with the inlay enamel
of white and red on a naval anchor and Croatian Chequer board. Unfortunately there is some minor damage to the enamel
on the anchor's eye and top anchor's arm as can be seen in the scan. Other than this, the badge is in very nice condition

Austrian style of ribbon on the triangular form. The award although stained, has no enamel damage and is with swords

(E356) An unidentified but believed to be Foreign Volunteer badge that has a black enamelled swastika set in a
red background. Around the edges, is what is remeniscent of a German Cross in gold wreath. There is some enamel damage
to this badge as can be seen. It has been put forward that it is either Croatian or Italian but unfortunately I have
been unable to find a reference to it.. So if anyone wishes to take a project on, this badge may well be the one to

½ dog tag which has the following stamped to it. 250 2.LE.BATTR.KROAT.AUSB.BRIG. And a

(E793) A scarce issue Croat Navy Legion badge being the type with the white enamelled anchor and red chequered board. The badge has a tiny piece of enamel damage on the top anchor eye, as can be seen from the scan, but nothing too serious. (F526) A Croat Order of the Crown of King Zvonimir 2nd class with swords. The award is the larger sixe and has a German style pin to the reverse. The quality of the item makes me believe that is in fact of German manufacture and not Croat. The swords denote military action and the award has no enamel damage and has a nice fire gilt finish to the gold high spots. The central crown also appears to be held on by a single rivet. (F982) A Croatian Order of the Crown Of King Zvonimira and complete with it's original cellaphande packet of issue. The award is the silvered zinc style and comes complete with it's original Austrian style of ribbon triangularly mounted. The medal has some minor tarnishing marks as can be seen from the scan.
