(E1407) A Medal Bar grouping consisting of 4 awards Firstly there is an Iron Cross 2nd class
that is very similar in shape to the Schinkle crosses. Next is a Russian Front award, then a 4 year Army Service
award and finally a Memel medal. All the medals are aged, dirtied and the ribbons are dirty too. The reverse backing
cloth has been mothed and removed. Other than this, vgc. Nice to find a bar with the Memel on it.

complete with its special police emblem sown to the ribbon, The ribbon loop has been shortened to make it fit
better, GBP £100.00 (UK Pounds)
|
(F118) A courtmounted 1st October Medal in near mint condition. The medal is a very nice bronzed colour with hardly any tarnish to it. It still appears to retain a proportion of it's original light lacquered finish. The ribbon is in nice order, although this has aged over the years. GBP £30.00 (UK Pounds)
|
(F301) A nice courtmounted Army/Navy 4 year Long Service Award being the type as manufactured in magnetic metal. The award is nicely toned although it retains all of it's silver finish and it is complete with it's magnetic Army/Navy eagle which is also attached to the ribbon. |
(F302) A Court Mounted Group of 3 consisting of the Iron Cross 2nd class 1939, the cross has toned over the
years with a build up of a powdery white around the edges of the frame, the frame is also starting to turn black
and the cross though, I would rate as probably near mint, , a bronze Customs Service medal, again is near mint
and has it's Customs Eagle Emblem sewn to the ribbon although this has been cut down to make it fit the bar
and is starting to fray at the edges of the ribbon and the West Wall medal, this is the nice earlier issue 1st
pattern type being of early heavy bronze, brass construction. All the ribbons are in vgc although there are
some dirt marks to them. The reverse bar has some blue cloth sewn to it.
GBP £300.00 (UK Pounds)

|
(F1198) A Court Mounted 1st October Medal in very good condition. The medal has the nice caramel bronze
colour and the ribbon is fairly clean and bright. The reverse has a black backing and if people's theories on
these colours are correct, this would make it an award to an SS or Panzer man. In very nice over all condition.
GBP £30.00 (UK Pounds)
|

which is maker marked G & S, the Army/Navy Long Service Award for 25 years, being a nice fully gilded frosted and burnished highlighted example and finally a 12yr Service Award. Both the Long Service Awards have their original magnetic eagles to the ribbon and both these awards are magnetic, as are the cross of honour and the Iron Cross. The Iron Cross on this example, is well used and worn and the paint has faded. The cross is the slim type.
