 (J1243) A 1st May 1936 Day Badge being in nice condition of pressed aluminium metal and maker marked Jorgum & Trefz Frankfurt a.m. Recently acquired from a German antique shop

(K107) A 1st Mai 1936 Day Badge. The badge is constructed of lightweight alloy. It is of the usual design with an eagle, sword, plough and hammer to the front. The badge is maker marked Karl Hensler to the reverse. Nice to find. In very good condition.

1ST SEA FESTIVAL DAY BADGES

 (K35) A Nice Day Badge for the 1st Sea Festival for 1935 and shows as such a three mast sailing ship with an eagle over the top holding a swastika. The badge is nicely maker marked to the reverse Fird Wagner Pforzheim. The quality of the striking is nice clean and crisp.

 (F58) A Day Badge for the German Sports Association, Luftsport Hilft Deutschland. The badge is the round type with a plastic circular dish, with a superimposed aeroplane to it and the wording is around the edge. In vgc

 (G1198) A scarce to find German Day Badge for Studentische Erntehilfe 1939 showing a student's style of swastika within a diamond, superimposed over ears of corn. The badge is in very good condition with only some moderate tarnish to the reverse. The badge is also a very rare type to find.

(G1203) A very scarce to find Day Badge for the East Prussian area dated 1939. The badge has a hitler youth diamond to the centre, but in the student form, with the wording Ein Satz Im Osten Ist Ehren Dienste Ernteein Satz In Ostprussen 1939 and the badge shows a plough as well as a map of the East Prussia area. The reverse is maker marked Paulmann & Crone Ludenscheid. It is in very good condition.

(H533) A Hitler Youth Day Badge for the DJH 1937 showing an eagle with a triangle with the letters DJH and the date 1937 and finally an HJ diamond to the base. The badge is in nice condition and complete with it's pin fixing and also a DJH Baustein tag attached

(H1291) A DJH Jugenburg Stahleck Hitler Youth Day Badge. This shows the DJH triangle over a town with this wording to the base. The badge is of very nice quality and is a scarce badge to find, it is also maker marked Hoffstatter, the premier of SS insignia.

(H1292) An Hitler Youth Circular Jugenban 7 Sports Vest 1936 in Luben Day Badge. The badge shows a competing youth putting a shot with the HJ diamond and the Luben lion holding keys. The badge is silvered but has worn to the high spots. Nice to find.

(J982) A nice early Hitler Youth Brass Tinny Day Badge for the first Hitler Youth Day on the 24th June 1933 and the badge shows an eagle rising out of the fire with a swastika to the base. A rare HJ badge to find.

KREIS AND GAU DAY BADGES

 (G1406) An oval Day Badge for the 1. Gau Parteitag Hamburg showing the Hamburg town hall, a swastika and what appears to be a hand doing a scout salute!. The badge is dated for 1934 about a year after Hitler came to power. Very nice heavy quality tombak metal that has been silvered. This has worn in places. A very unusual badge in nice over all condition.

 (H479) A nice brightly woven Day Badge for the Gau Tag of the 9-12/6/1938 for Hannover and shows all the town emblems as well as an eagle with a swastika to the base. In very good condition.

(J535) An impressive early German Day Badge with a lion holding a sword and wearing a crown within a belt wreath and a crown above. The reverse has a big maker's plate attached. Impressive looking item. The badge was part of a group of items acquired by an American Serviceman, during and after the war.

(K108) A nice German Day Badge showing a viking ship as it's central design and dated 29-30th Mai 1937 Gautag Weseremsin Oldenburg. (H188) A Day Badge being an unusual example for the firm of Bitburg Siemens Bauunion, the major electrical components manufacturer and shows their company logo to the badge. The badge unusually is undated but is of very nice quality and construction

MIXED DAY BADGES

(H661) A very unusual Hitler Headed Day Badge for 1933. The badge is constructed of bakerlite and marked BAKERLITE BERLIN and has a serial number separately etched to the reverse of the badge being 011542. To the front, it shows a cameo portrait of Adolf Hitler's head with the wording BRAUNE GROSS MESSE SCHAFFT ARBEIT 1933 with two swastikas on either side. The badge is one I have never seen before and is of nice quality and design and a very early example.

(F1305) A very rare example of a German Volksdeutsch Sudenten Party Day Badge. The badge is of superb quality, construction and condition and shows the Sudenten Party b Emblem to the top of the badge, showing two ears of corn with an odel rune to the centre and the wording ERNTEDANK and what is believed to be the date 1938 (see what you think by the scan). The badge is made of wood, I cannot stress the quality or rarity of this item enough.

(G1197) A circular Day Badge for Kassel 1933 showing a mobile swastika with an oak leaf to the centre. The badge is in very nice condition and is for the Deutsche Volksturms und Heimattag. An unusual and interesting day badge.

(F334) A square shaped Day Badge with the wording HEIMAT & REICH MUNSTER 1933 and it then has a black swastika with a shield of red with a prancing horse to the centre. A nice and scarce Day badge to acquire. The badge is in very nice condition.

(G1201) A very rare Day Badge for Gautag Am Westwall 1939. The badge shows an eagle holding a swastika over the West Wall defences. The reverse is maker marked Werner Redo Saar Lautern and it is also RZM M9/56 marked and carries the designers name (ENTWURF) F.K.Franck Kaiserslautern to the reverse also. Very unusual to find such a well marked badge, especially for the German West Wall and dated for 1939.

(J1090) A 125 Year of Leipzig Day Badge showing two German heroes from history who were part of the foundation in Leipzig. The badge is dated 1938 and maker marked Leipzig. Recently discovered in an old tin in a garage by the subsequent house owner.

(G1250) An unusual NSDAP 5th HESSENTAG IN KASSEL Day Badge for the 17th -19th Mai 1935 Der NSDAP. The badge is of pressed steel and is of very fine quality and is maker marked to the reverse HOFFSTATTER BONN and is a very scarce badge to find.

 (G1432) A nice early 1933 Day Badge for the NSBO in Duisburg. The badge shows the town coat of arms with the wording NSBO KUNDGEBUNG DER DEUTSCHEN ARBEITS FRONT DUISBURG 29 JULI 1933. The Badge is of pressed metal and is in very good condition. Complete with its pin fixing, the badge is an uncommon example to acquire.

 (G1433) A Day Badge for the Gau Mainfranken Treueschwur 25.2.1934 being a nice circular heavy Day Badge, showing as it's main feature, a hand in what appears to be a scout salute superimposed over a swastika. The badge is also dated 25.2.1934. Nice early heavy quality and a scarce badge to find.

 (H1167) A very unusual woven cloth Gau Essen Badge. This shows on a red background, a raised sword with two crossed hammers, the date 1938 and the leters Gau Essen. The badge is of superb condition for the type it is and is very scarce to acquire and is featured in this months edition of Armourer.

OLD COMRADES DAY BADGES

(A2277) Day Badge for NSKOV for 1937. Circular badge showing the Brandenburg gate in Berlin

(H627) An Old Comrades Badge showing an eagle perched on a plaque with the letters NSKOV. On the eagles chest, it has an Iron Cross with a swastika encompassed within a red circle. There is also an upturned sword and wreath (the emblem of the NSKOV). The badge is nice and large and complete with it's pin back fitting. The badge is also maker marked on the reverse RZM M1/52. A very nice badge to find.

(H665) An Old Comrades Day Badge showing the emblem of the NSKOV being an iron cross, with a swastika and on an up pointed sword over a sun, some mountains and dwellings, within an oakleaf wreath. To the base, there is the following wording "Tag Der Pfalz Kreigs Beschadigten 24.6.1934. The badge is of nice quality and construction and is quite an unusual one to find.

(K36) A nice Early Bronze Reichsparteitag 1936 Day Badge. The badge is maker marked W Redo Saarlautern. The badge is in very nice used condition. Given to those who participated in the party day rally for Germany to which many foreigner's were invited.

(K38) A Scarce example of an NSDAP Reichsparteitag, Weimar from Thüringen, 1938 Day Badge that shows the party standard of that area as the main design to the badge. A nice impressive badge that has a little oxidisation as can be seen from the scan, but nothing too serious. The badge is maker marked H Wernstein Jenna. Nice to find with this design.

(G1412) A Day Badge for the Deutsch ist die Saar 1934. The badge shows moderate wear and tear with some rusting etc. The badge is also maker marked to the reverse but this is too difficult to make out. Priced for condition

SA (STORM TROOPER) DAY BADGES

(H639) A Day Badge for the SA in Breslau 1933. The badge shows an eagle holding a swastika with an SA symbol to the base. Very nice quality and a very Rare and early badge to acquire.

 (H940) An SA Day Badge showing as it's main design the SA Sports badge with an eagle sitting on top of the sword. Along the blade is the wording Nordmark Voran 25.26.5.35 Kiel. The badge is of pressed silvered metal and complete with it's pin fixing to the reverse. A nice scarce SA badge to acquire.

(H941) A Reichs Wettkampftage Der SA Gruppe Niederrhein 28.30.Aug 1935. The badge shows as it's design, an SA stylised Sports Badge with an SA emblem replacing a swastika. Scarce to find.

(H942) An SA Sports Fest 1934 Nurnberg Day Badge for the Brigade 78 Mit Elfr. The badge shows the SA emblem and the SA dagger with motto as it's central design. A very scarce and early day badge, this is one of the harder SA badges to acquire.

(H943) A plastic and colourful SA Day Badge showing the coalfields of Dortmond as well as dated 1.2.3.Juli 1938. The badge is well maker marked to the reverse and is of very nice quality.

(H1293) A rare to find SA Day Badge being dated 1934 with the wording FRUHJAHRSPARNDE DER STANDARTE 444. It also shows and eagle holding an SA emblem on top of an oval wreath. Very rare.

(J146) A nice designed Day Badge with a swastika and a sword hilt and SA sign to the centre. The badge is a nice maker marked example by Brehmer, which is marked on the soldered pin plate. The badge is manufactured from non magnetic metal and has the wording "Brigade Treffen Erfurt Ostern 34. A scarce SA badge to find with a nice maker's name to the reverse.

SS DAY BADGES

 

 (B1665) A metal detector recovered SS Gautag 1933 Munchen badge in good condition. The front has been heavily cleaned but is still in reasonable condition. The back which was protected is in good condition also, with the pin complete and undamaged.

 (H514) A small Brown Plastic Swastika Badge with it's pin fixing missing. The two loops are still intact and the badge is maker marked. These badges are part of the SS archealogical set showing that the swastika was a Germanic symbol. This badge was picked up by a member of the Liverpool Regiment
