GROUND COMBAT BADGES
Instituted on 31 March 1942
Known Makers : GB (Soldered Eagle) G H Osang (1 Rivet type) GWL (2 Rivets) MuK5, RK, (3 Rivet)

  • (C1402) Luftwaffe Ground Combat Badge by "GB" The badge is a Veteran Bring
back. That is in used but vgc and has the eagle soldered to the badge

    GBP £ 175.00(UK Pounds)

  • (E604) An unusual Luftwaffe Ground Assault being the type with an eagle
held onto the wreath by a single rivet. The badge retains virtually all of
it's original finish with a burnished swastika and oxidised appearance. The
unusual feature is a strange pin to the reverse which is reminiscent more of the
coke bottle pin than the pins often found on these badges.

    GBP £175.00 (UK Pounds)

  • (F1158) A Luftwaffe Ground Combat Badge by the maker "GB" and marked as such into the reverse.
This is for the maker Gustav Brehmer. The badge is a Veteran bring back and is a late war zinc
example that has lost virtually all of it's finish. The eagle is soldered to the badge and is of
nice quality. The die design is again, of good quality and the badge would probably benefit from
a sympathetic clean. One of the hard badges to acquire in the Luftwaffe Ground Combat rande. The
badge is a nice example with all the features you would expect from this maker.

    GBP £175.00 (UK Pounds)

  • (E723) A nice scarce issue Luftwaffe Ground Combat badge by the maker GWL. The award is
unique in the fact that this eagle is attached by two rivets to the badge and has a cut out
swastika. The badge also has the feature of a cast in hinge and hook as often found on GWL
marked badges. The badge is in vgc although the silver finish has toned over the years,
to a slate grey of standard zinc. A nice scarce badge to acquire for the ground combat
badge collectors being one of the hardest makers to find.

    GBP £245.00 (UK Pounds)

  • (F1350) A nice example of a Luftwafe Ground Combat Badge by the well known maker Csang of Dresden. The badge has the eagle held to it by a single rivet and the eagle is slightly loose. The badge itself if of base zine, whereas the eagle is of good fine quality metal. The badge still retains a high proportion of it's original finish and has the Osang trademark stamped into the reverse of the badge. The pin and hinge fittings are also of good fine quality and the badge appears to have been used and worn in service and has some age dirt to it.

    GBP £195.00 (UK Pounds)

  • (G934)A Luftwaffe Ground Combat Badge being the two piece type that has had it's over eagle removed and so now is in fact a one piece. The eagle has the single hole drilled out for attachment for the riveted eagle and although unmarked, the badge appears to be the Osang style. Of very nice quality, the badge has toned with age.

    GBP £120.00 (UK Pounds)

(G1376) A Luftwaffe Ground Combat Badge being a mid to late war example that is Silver plated over base zinc. The badge is the cast in hinge and hook type of one piece manufacture and retains only a small proportion of it's original painted grey finish. All in all, a nice example of a badge that has been used and worn in service.

    GBP £110.00 (UK Pounds)

    PARA BADGES
    Instituted on 5th November 1936
    Known Makers:
    A, B & NL, B.S.W.,C E Juncker Berlin,SW, G.W.L, G H Osang Dresden, P.M., W Deumer,Ludensheid,

  • (F594) A nice example of The Cloth Version of the Luftwaffe Para Badge in embroidered cotton
on field grey backing cloth. The eagle is nice and clean as is the silver threads. The reverse shows
an outline of the original embroidery and has a cotton strengthener in place. Near mint condition scarce

    GBP £90.00 (UK Pounds)

  • (F1039) A nice early heavy nickel silver Para Badge by the well known maker Juncker and marked as
such in two lines, stamped into the reverse of the eagle. Also there are some scratches which look
like 4HHH? Very hard to make out, but these are on the reverse of the eagle. The badge has a strange
feature of the wreath being silvered, why they have done this on a nickel badge, I cannot say. All
I can say is that this is a period feature on the badge as it was a veteran acquired item and hasn't
had the chance of being in any collection until now. All in all, a nice example of a standard textbook
    example.

    GBP £600.00 (UK Pounds)

(G768) A textbook example of a mid to late war Para Badge by the well known firm of Assmann & Sohn. The badge has the classic Assmann eagle held by two flattened domed rivets to a late war wreath that has the die mark 2 and the injection moulded die presses as well as a cast in hinge and hook configuration. The badge eagle itself is also marked A & L/64 so that the badge could either be purchased or awarded. A similar example is shown in the Forman's Price Guide Vol. 3. And this reverse is also shown in the Armourer Jan/Feb 2008 Issue 85 on Page 63. A superb badge to acquire.

    GBP £475.00 (UK Pounds)

(G864) A veteran purchased Luftwaffe Para Badge being a late war zinc badge with a zinc eagle held by two rivets to the badge. The reverse is unmarked and the award only retains a small portion of it's original gilt and oxidised silver finish. The wreath also shows the die edge marks around the edging that shows that the badge's wreath was injection moulded. The eagle still is of nice quality and condition although the wreath itself has toned and oxidised. GBP £350.00

    GBP £350.00 (UK Pounds)

(G1037) A nice used and worn example of a German Luftwaffe Cloth Para Badge. The badge has been removed from a tunic and has mostly wear, tear and mothing to the Luftwaffe backing material. The eagle and wreath embroidery though is still clean, clear and intact.

    GBP £75.00 (UK Pounds)

(G1377) A used and worn Luftwaffe Cloth Para Badge which shows some handling wear, surface dirt etc to it. The cloth is unmothed and the cotton stitching is nice and tight. A nice example to acquire, this actually does look like the para badge unlike some examples that look a bit splodgy!

    GBP £95.00 (UK Pounds)

(G1098) A Luftwaffe Para Badge by the well known maker C E Juncker, Berlin and the badge is marked as such in two lines stamped into the reverse of the badge. The badge is an early tombak example with a nicely domed riveted eagle affixed to a nice nickel silver wreath. The badge has a nice barrelled hinge and hook fixings and although the badge has toned dark over the years, it still retains a pleasing appearance and look. The trademark as stated, is stamped into the reverse of the badge with the postcode of SW added.

    GBP £700.00 (UK Pounds)
