MEMBERSHIP BADGES

AIR DEFENCE BADGES ETC

  1. (F582) A very scarce example of the Ofices badge for the RLB. In nice quality and condition and is maker marked on the reverse G BREHMER MARKNEU KIRCHEN GES GESCH. The correct title for this badge is Officials Badge of the National Air Raid Protection Union

  3. (E205) An RLB enamelled blue lettered badge with a swastika to the base, again in blue, on a silver star. The badge is in gc as it has some enamel damage to the centre and is priced as such. Unmarked. GBP £30.00 Picture

  4. (G258) A Luftwaffe Eagle Stick Pin for civilian employees being the first type with what is called the drop tailed eagle. In very good condition, and quite scarce nowadays. GBP £25.00 Picture

  5. (G321) An RLB Membership Badge showing the silver star burst with the letters RLB and a swastika to the base all in blue enamel. The badge is maker marked to the reverse by the well know firm of Hoffstatter Bonn who made the SS Membership pins amongst other badges. The badge was part of a group of items bought back by a British Army Officer at the end of the war. GBP £30.00 Picture

  7. (G889) A Badge of Merit in the Aircraft Industry. The badge is a pin back example and is Ges Gesch marked to the reverse. The white enamel to the shield is nice and clean and the badge itself is a nice clean crisp striking. GBP £120.00 Picture

    (G1260) A nice example of an Aircraft Manufacturer's Pin of Honour. The pin is a textbook example as can be seen in the Cone book where a similar example is illustrated. There is no enamel damage to the shield and the badge is just Ges Gesch marked as is standard for this type. An unusual item to find.

  8. (F932) A bronze Wehrmacht Supporter's smaller size tie pin badge being the 25 mm size. The badge is magnetic and retains a high proportion of it's finish. GBP £25.00 Picture

  9. (F820) An unidentified enamelled badge showing mountains with a white sword to the centre flanked by a pair of wings. The badge is unmarked and in vgc. GBP £10.00 Picture

  10. (G63) A League Membership Badge of the German Colonies. An identical badge to this is shown in the book "One People, One Right" by J R Cone on page 77. The badge is in very good condition with no enamel damage. GBP £35.00 Picture

  11. (F1325) A Swastika Stick Tie Pin being of early quality silver metal. Often worn by early supporters, these stickpins were later replaced by more quality items. GBP £15.00 Picture

  12. (G246) A Musician's Stick Pin showing a lehre with an upturned sword and a swastika superimposed and around the edge is the lettering SANGERBUND WESTMARK. The badge is also maker marked to the reverse. GBP £25.00 Picture

  13. (G238) A Membership Badge for the German Colonies being a nice example with no enamel damage. The pin is marked Ges Gesch and has n L trade mark. There is no enamel damage although there is a scratch to the right enamelled portion which can be seen under a glass. Other than this, very good condition. GBP £25.00 Picture

  14. (G1091) A scarce example of the Membership Badge of the German Homeowner's Association. The badge is a nice example showing a house with a green lawn with a black swastika on it encompassed by a winged eagle with the lettering DSB on it's chest. Scarce to find, the badge is in very nice condition and maker marked with the Herman Aurich trade mark to the reverse. A similar example is shown in the book "One People, One Reich" by A R Cone on page 86. In his book, he gives the badge a scarce rating with approximately 32,000 badges made before the end of the war.   15. (G1092) A scarce Nazi State Teacher's Union Badge. The badge is the first type as shown in the book "One People, One Reich" by A R Cone on page 71 being the straight winged eagle. The badge is in very nice condition and is maker marked Hoffstatter Bonn and Ges Gesch as is the one shown in the book. Very scarce to find. GBP £45.00 Picture

  16. (F891) A National Socialist Kraft Badge showing a rising swastika over some green mountains with a coat of arms etc to the base. The badge is shown in the book "Katalog Der Abzeichen Deutscher Organisationen 1871-1945" on page 100-101 and lists the value then at 280 dm. The catalogue is dated 1997. Maker marked to the reverse for the maker Hoffstatter Bonn. The enamel, apart from a minor chip to the right hand side of the rising sun, as can be seen from the scan, is in lovely condition. Considerably reduced because of the minor chip Vgc. GBP £99.00 Picture
  17. ASSOCIATION BADGES

    (G1185) A Gardeners Membership Badge. The badge is of duel piece construction with the eagle riveted to a nice green enamelled background. The rivets go through the reverse of the badge and secure the pin fixing. The badge is a textbook example of that shown in the book "One People, One Reich" by J R Cone. This badge matches the one shown in his illustration for maker etc. A scarce badge to acquire..

    POLITICAL BADGES

    1. (B1998) A small Nazi Badge in the shape of a Shield with to the center a Red white and black Swastika, So far I have not found any referance to it GBP £ 125.00Picture

    2. (D1246) A Disabled NSDAP Membership badge in vgc GBP £50.00 Picture

    3. (E976) A late war NSDAP Party Badge being the type of manufacture where the infill was actually painted and not enamelled. The badge is in vgc and retains approximately 70% of it's original paint finish. To the reverse it is maker marked RZM M1/105 . In vgc GBP £25.00Picture

    4. (E1402) A NSDAP party badge mounted on a stick pin fixing. The enameling on the pin is complete although there is a minor chip to the top and a few other minor chips to the black swastka. The badge is slightly smaller size being approx. 16 mm in dia. Nice and unusual to find especially without the motto. GBP £40.00 Picture

    5. (E1645) A zinc late war NSDAP Party badge in gc. With some paint lifting as can be seen from the scan. The badge unusually is maker marked "RZM M9/312" and is quite unusual to get with the M9 coding as most encountered will be the M1 styles. GBP £25.00 Picture

    6. (E1646) A zinc late war NSDAP Party badge in gc. The badge retains a high proportion of it's original paint finish although this has oxidised in places. The badge is maker marked to the reverse "RZM M1/103" and the pin holder is also marked Ges Gesch. GBP £25.00 Picture

    7. (E1695) A later issue NSDAP Party Badge in zinc. The badge has approximately 98% of it's original painted finish. The badge is also maker marked RZM M1/148. GBP £30.00 Picture

    8. (E1698) An NSDAP Party Badge in vgc. This is the late style with a painted finish and although the paint is dirty, it is virtually 97% intact. The badge is maker "RZM M1/34". GBP £30.00 Picture

    9. (F589) A Nazi Membership Badge consisting of a mobile gilded swastika on a blue enamelled background. The badge is in very nice condition with no enamel damage. As of yet, unidentified by me. GBP £85.00 Picture

    10. (F1385) A late war N.S.D.A.P. Party badge in pressed zinc with the enamel work replaced by paint. The reverse is maker marked RZM M1/63 and the badge is in near mint condition. GBP £ 30.00 Picture

    11. (G239) A scarce example of a Hitler Youth style Students Membership Pin. The pin which is the 2/3 size has alternate red and white enamel between the arms of the swastika. It has a tie pin fixing and is not often encountered at this size. There is no enamel damage, although a red portion of the enamel shows a bruising, with the red a darker red than rest. Very scarce to find. GBP £45.00 Picture

    12. (D1086) An NSDAP buttonhole badge being the second style constructed with black, white and red paint to it. The badge is in vgc and maker marked RZM M1/42. GBP £35.00 Picture

    13. (G254) A nice example of the S A Reserve Membership Stick Pin showing a black shield showing a white swastika encompassed by two wings. The badge is in vgc. GBP £25.00 Picture

    14. (F952) An NSDAP Party Badge for a Volks Deutsche Group in Nordschleswig being the Membership Badge for the Group. Very rare to find. The only reference I could find for it was on page 211 in the publication "Heering-Husken, Kagalog Der Abzeichen Deutscher oragnisationen 1871-1945" where it lists a few of this groups badges and gives this membership badges value at 400 dm in 1997.     15. (F326) A DVG Westmark Lothr a province between Germany and France, the badge is nicely maker marked "W REDO" and "SAARLAUTERN" to the reverse in raised letters. The badge has no enamel damage and is a fine example. GBP £125.00 Picture

    16. (F537) A small stick pin badge showing an eagle and swastika over a steel helmet with red, white and black and the wording "National Front" to the base around the helmet. Nice to find early party badge. Very scarce to find and in very good condition. GBP £135.00 Picture

    17. (G801) A very strange and unusual NSDAP Party Badge being what looks like a half finished example with the white infill not being applied. The badge has a pin fixing to the reverse for a tie fitting or some such and not the normal spring catch fitting. Where the white infill would have been, it has been silvered, giving a rather striking appearance. Very unsual to find. GBP £50.00 Picture

    LABOUR BADGES

    1. (F338) A nice enamelled badge showing 2 hands clasping over a swastika and with the wording DEINE HAND DEM HANDWORK.. There is no enamel damage to the badge which is of nice pale red enamel and maker marked on the reverse GBDA GES GESCH. GBP £30.00 Picture

    2. (G68) An NSAD Labour Award Remembrance Badge being classed as the golden badge of honour. The award is of very nice quality and construction and is shown in the book "One People, One Right" by J R Cone on page 53. There is no enamel damage and the award is in very nice condition The book then goes on to state that less than 30,000 of these were awarded and as such, it should be considered as very scarce. £50.00 Picture

    3. (G251) A DAF/Handworkers Day Pin showing both emblems mounted onto a piece of semi precious amber. To the base is a little card with the wording GARANTIERT ECHT BERNSTEIN N B J .The piece is very nice and unusual. GBP £20.00 Picture

    4. (G1089) A National Socialist Frauenschaft Badge being the type with the slim blue border around the edge. It is what is the called the Frauenschaft type 3 badge with the thinner blue border. The badge is maker marked to the reverse RZM M1/34. GBP £35.00 Picture

    3. (D840) Post war German collection of Old Comrades pins x 3. Consisting of the Iron Cross motifs to the centre, and an oak leaf sprig around the edges. All the badges are maker marked. GBP £10.00 Picture

    4. (F830) An Old Comrades Pin consisting of a white shield with a black cross to the centre and a silver oak leaf wreath. Nice quality and condition and in vgc. GBP £20.00 Picture

    5. (F865) An NSKOV Old Comrades Shooting Award in gilt. This shows the NSKOV Iron Cross and swastika on an oak leaf wreath with two crossed rifles behind. Nice condition in gilt metal. Scarce to find. GBP £40.00 Picture

    6. (F867) An Old Comrades stick pin for 25 years service in the Reich Streubund being of the following design; showing an Iron Cross with a red centre and silver swastika, two crossed swords and a gilt 25 to the base. The reverse is maker marked "GANTE BERLINS GES GESCH". Nice quality. GBP £25.00 Picture

(F864) A small size German Sports Bund Badge in enamel.This is the fourth style of membership badge and the badge is shown in the publication Katalog der Abzeichen Deutscher Organisationen 1871-1945 on page 129 where it is priced up at 50 DM. Nice quality having a DT (Deustche Turnerschaft) as the central logo. There is no enamel damage to the badge. GBP £10.00 Picture

    8. (G232) An enamelled 40 year Old Comrades Badge showing a red enamelled shield with a black swastika'd Iron Cross to the centre and a 40 in enamel to the base. Around the edge is a sprig of oak leaves. The badge is maker marked Ges Gesch 5. In very good condition with no enamel damage, nice to find. GBP £35.00 Picture

    RED CROSS BADGES

    1. (D1167) A Red cross senior helper's brooch, consisting of a large circular badge with a bordered swastika and the wording in silver that translates as German Red Cross, senior helper's badge. This is the type listed as type 3 by some people. The badge has no enamel damage and is quite scarce. GBP £60.00 Picture

    2. (F801) A late war zinc painted Red Cross Badge. The badge although being late war, is still in near mint condition and has the maker's name to the reverse of ELM. There is slight oxidisation to the zinc on the reverse, nothing too drastic. Worn by a Red Cross nurse who continued to serve after the war, and it is assumed this badge was removed and not worn by her. GBP £25.00 Picture

    3. (G891) A nice example of the German Red Cross Civilian Membership Badge, showing a black eagle with a swastika to it's chest, holding a red cross. The badge is listed as the type 4 style which was used between 1939-45 and the reverse is maker marked Ges Gesch. There is no enamel damage to the award. GBP £25.00 Picture

    SS MEMBERSHIP BADGES

    1. (F713) A small size SS Membership pin that has had a slight chink into the top of the award. This is not noticable unless you really look at it. The pin is the one that was issued with an Ausweiss and has the number "187288" stamped into the reverse as well as the maker's name of "Hoffstatter Bonn, Ges Gesch" stamped into the reverse Very hard to find now, these pins were worn on civilian clothes to denote membership of the SS and as such, were discarded and destroyed at the end of the war when the SS became an illegal organisation.     2. (F714) A very nice SS Sponsor's Pin in silver and black enamel and with the membership number of D94795 stamped into the reverse and the letters Ges Gesch Deschler MCHN9 also stamped into the reverse. The pin is of fine quality and construction and a scarce award to find nowadays. GBP £275.00 Picture

    WOMANS BADGES

    1. (B1384) A near mint female Driver's Badge for the "NSKK. The badge is constructed of zinc and has as it's main design, a black steering wheel with a central boss with a swastika on it, and three arms radiating out of it. Below that is the wording KREIGSKRAFT FAHRERIN. An example of this is shown in the book "NSKK /NSFK " by John R. Angolia and David Littlejohn. GBP £80.00 Picture

    2. (E244) A strange circular oval Womans Brooch consisting of a pie crust circular decorated brass blackened badge with the Life Rune to it. The badge is maker marked to the reverse and has a brooch pin fitting soldered to it. I haven't tried to identify this but believe it to be a woman's brooch from the early pre years of party rule.     3. (E245) A Womans/Youth movement Brooch having the Victory Rune impressed to it. Made from blackened brass, the award is in vgc. I haven't tried to identify this but believe it to be a woman's brooch from the early pre years of party rule. In vgc GBP £25.00 Picture

    4. (E1340) A triangular badge for the Deustches Frauenwork and consists of a silver life rune with a mobile swastika shaped to the top with the title in red enamel above that. The badge has no enamel damage and is RZM marked to the reverse in raised letters RZM M1/105. GBP £22.50 Picture

    5. (F285) An oval RAD Badge for the ladies being the commemorative brooch. The badge is manufactured in the lightweight aluminium metal being the silver class and is maker stamped A for Assmann 38 and has the RAD triangle acceptance mark. All in all, a nice attractive brooch in very good condition. GBP £45.00 Picture

    6. (F299) A rare brooch pin on badge as given to German female auxillaries in service for the German navy. The badge is made in heavy bronzed alloy and retains some of the original gilding to the reverse. Complete with its brooch pin fitting. In vgc GBP£160.00 Picture

    7. (F580) A Badge of the Lutheran Woman's Aid, a religious based organisation consisting of a blue enamelled square with a white religious Cross to the centre with the wording EVANGELISCHE FRAUEN HILFE. In near mint condition. GBP £25.00 Picture

    8. (G1015) A Female RAD War Volunteer Service Badge being a throat brooch, or occasionally a lapel brooch. The badge has the lettering RADWJ and this award and this award was instituted in 1941. This example has the solid back and has a nice brooch pin fitting to it. Constructed from fine zinc, the award has some nice amount of detailing. Excellent quality and similar to the women's land army badges, as used in Britain. GBP £30.00 Picture
