The cross is in near mint condition and has a nice oxidised gold frosted and burnished finish. Given for 8 or more children, this is a well deserved award. The cross is the standard style with the 16th Dezember 1938 Adolf Hitler engraving to the reverse. The cross retains virtually all it's fired gilding. A very nice example.
