The ribbon has a few age stain spots but nothing too serious. Given to German mother's who bore a significant amount of children. (K1039) A Nice used example of a Silver Mothers Cross being of standard two piece construction wtih the standard 16th Dezemeber 1938 logo to the reverse. The cross has some minor enamel damage of a shallow chip to the lefthand arm and a few shallow chips to the centre. These are only discernable under a magnifying glass. The cross comes with a shortened piece of ribbon. An attractive looking cross. Given to German mother's who bore a significant amount of children. (K1359) A Silver German Mother's Cross complete with a shortened piece of ribbon. The cross is the standard 13th Dezember 1938 type with Adolf Hitler's signature to the base. The silver has toned an overall black bluish colour which is quite pleasing to the eye. The enamel on the cross is in very good condition with only minimul wear and tear. A nice and hard cross to acquire, silver crosses are difficult to get, surprisingly more so than the gold. The cross was recently acquired from a German house clearing agent with a bunch of other items, which will be listed gradually. GBP £50.00 (UK Pounds)

BRONZE MOTHERS CROSSES Instituted on 16th Dezember 1938
|
(K727) A Nice example of a Bronze Mothers Cross 2nd Pattern. The cross has
virtually all it's enamel intact although there are a couple of places where the enamelling wasn't finished properly on it and as such, it shows the underlying bronze metal. This is very minute and it is probably me being over critical. It is on the white bottom arm just below the disc. The cross still retains much of it's original lacquered finish although the reverse has been polished. The reverse has the usual 16th Dezember 1938 date and Adolf Hitler's signature to the reverse engraved. The cross comes complete with a long length of original ribbon that has been sewn up for wear. A very nice example in lovely condition. The cross comes from a house clearing agent in the Frankfurt area GBP £40.00 (UK Pounds)
