(E317) A War Order of German Cross in Gold in metal, The cross is a nice used mid war example with the nice cupal sandwich effect which can be seen on the edge of the star. Though the award is not maker marked it can be put down to the well known firm of Steinhaur and Luck who made amongst other items the Knights Cross. The enamelled swastika on this example is scratched But it is not chipped and the silver roundel is age stained . GBP £1100.00
