(F298) A courtmounted grouping of 4 consisting of the WWI Iron Cross 2nd class, the Cross of Honour with swords, which is maker marked G & S, the Army/Navy Long Service Award for 25 years, being a nice fully gilded frosted and burnished highlighted example and finally a 12yr Service Award. Both the Long Service Awards have their original magnetic eagles to the ribbon and both these awards are magnetic, as are the cross of honour and the Iron Cross. The Iron Cross on this example, is well used and worn and the paint has faded. The cross is the slim type. All in all, a very nice set with the reverse of the medal bar sewn up with a nice green backing cloth and the ribbons are nice and clean. GBP £299.00
