(G11) A large A4 + size award document with a good ink signiture of Grand Admiral Reader to Karl Zimmermann. The document is in used condition and appoints Zimmermann Director of Construction Department for the Kriegsmarine in Kiel. Amongst other things this yard produced the Tirpitz, and the Admiral Scheer, as well as many U boats. Karl Zimmermann was born on 5th April 1889 and was a Golden NSDAP Badge holder . This is a worthwhile research project to a known Party member who was responsible for the construction of many of Germanys War Vessels. It also comes with a letter from the Imperial War Museum from 1981 confiming these details GBP £ 250.00
