(G435) A very nice example of a Silver Eastern Peoples Medal of Merit. The decoration has toned a goldish colour over the years, but is still very very nice. The award has a nice hinge and pin soldered to the reverse and is unmarked. The award comes in it's case of issue, which has a nice silver blocked design to the lid and the case itself is in very nice condition. The black flocked base and white undersilk lid are both nice and clean and the over all condition of the pair is very good. Picked up by a British Army Officer who was part of the 8th army, and like many other servicemen, fought through Africa, Italy and Germany, where he picked up a number of souveniers over the years, including many cased and packeted awards, as well as the odd ring.
