(H1138) A pair of Golden Party Badges both being the same size and numbered 32012. The first one is A standard Fuess type 25 mm Golden Party Badge. The badge has had a hard life and has had some dings and chips to the enamel, as can be seen. It also has had a clip replacement made for it. The badge is an unmarked example, but has the die features of the Fuess being the railway track sleepers type behind the oak leaf border. The badge is one of those that was custom made, as the hinge is more of a substantial fitting than the normal type and as the hook has been replaced with a better quality one.
The second badge is a standard Fuess and is marked as such on the retaining clip. The numbering on this example is hand engraved and in a semi circle as is the Fuess style. However, I would suggest this badge is either a secondary copy or separately purchased one that was used while the first was being repaired. The enamelling on this is in slightly better condition with no bruising. The pin to the reverse shows no repairs and the badge is a textbook example. Very unusual to find a pair of small matched party badges.
