The badge matches an example shown on page 40 of the book "Foreign Legions of the Third Reich" Volume 2 by David Littlejohn and has to the reverse the numbers 803 and A stamped into it. It states this is a commemorative badge that was worn on the left breast pocket. Very rare to find.
