(K728) A Document Grouping of 5 Citations, plus the accompanying Medals, and a pencil colour drawing of the recipient. To begin, the drawing is a head and shoulders waxed shading showing the recipient wearing a steel helmet. It is signed and dated as well as named. This was originally in a glass frame, but coming to us, the glass was smashed and so we have removed it. Also, there are the following five documents;- An Army Long Service 4 Year made out to Unteroffizier Werner Baz. This is for him while he was in the infantry regiment 78 part of the 26th infantry division. A West Wall Medal Citation, signed by a General Leutnant Von Forster again commander of the 26th infantry division. A field typed Russian Front Citation, an Infantry Assault Badge in Silver Citation, and a Black Wound Badge Citation. This was dated 18.12.44. Also with this grouping were the following medals, a West Wall Medal in Bronze, being a nice early issue, a 4 Year Army Long Service Medal being Court Mounted, a Russian Front Medal maker marked No. 93 being a mid war example in near mint condition, a Black Wound Badge, a Silver Infantry Assault Badge by WH, a late war example in very good condition and a Black Wound Badge being an earlier brass example that is unmarked. Very nice untouched honest grouping. This group comes from a house clearing agent in the Frankfurt area GBP £500.00 (UK Pounds)
