(L223) A Knights Cross of the Iron Cross being a textbook example. The cross is an unmarked 65 example, although the loop is marked 65. The cross is nicely soldered up with no splitting or cracking. It is a textbook example of a Klein and Quenzer Cross. It has all the features associated with this manufacturer, with its oversized doughnut eyering, chunky arms etc. The cross is stamped 800 below the eyering and has its original loop attached which is marked 800 and 65. The cross measures approximately 48.5 mm and weighs approximately 31.2 grammes including the marked loop. It also comes complete with a 22 cm length of original ribbon, which is in very nice condition overall. GBP £7500.00 (UK Pounds)
