(L431) A Cased Luftwaffe Flak Badge of nice quality and construction. The flak badge is of mid war manufacture and retains much of its original finish although this has now been pulled in with just the lacquer retaining partial finish. The badge is an unmarked example with a nicely soldered hinge and hook. The eagle is then soldered to the badge and the eagle still retains most of its original factory lacquer. The case is a mid war example with a blue flocked base and silk underlined lid that has the usual KB stampings to the base. The external part of the case of the flak badge has Flak Kampf ABZ stamped in three lines in gold lettering to the lid with some age staining to the leatherette covering and sun damage. It makes the case look more green than purple. Having said all this, still a nice example. GBP £499.00 (UK Pounds)
