A German Military Ribbon Bar for the Service Tunic for Bravery in WWI with 4 awards

(S280) An Imperial German/Prussian Medal Group of four Awards, consisting of the Iron Cross 2nd Class, the Bavarian Military Service Cross 4th Class With Swords in Silver, Gilt and Enamel, a Cross of Honour With Swords and a Bavarian King Lufwig Cross for 1916. The iron cross is a nice near mint example, with only minor wear and tear to the core. The frame is nicely soldered up and is in good condition. The Bavarian merit cross is in very fine condition, but has the reverse top arm with the enamel not finished off properly, or it has worn. The cross is also marked 950 and what appears to be a C with another letter before that, that I cannot decipher. The cross of honour is marked L.NBG and the Ludwig cross is unmarked, but in very nice condition. The ribbon bar is nice and clean and as such, it is a puzzle why the merit cross has the damage that it does, which is why I feel it may have not been finished off properly, which is why it would be used on a court mount. Either way, the price reflects this. GBP 350.00 (UK Pounds)
