(H1316) A nice DRL Sports Badge being the type with the swastika to the base. The badge has mild corrosion marks to the reverse with mostly the pin being affected. The badge is a dark bronze finish and is unmarked. Becoming harder to find, the badge was given for sports participation of a military nature. GBP £35.00 (UK Pounds)

(J658) A nice example of a DRL Bronze Sports Badge. The badge has a maker's mark of Wernstein Jena to the reverse and has nicely fretted out lettering. The badge is complete

(J750) A DRL Sports Badge being the type manufactured by Wernstein Jena and has all the features associated with this maker being of early quality metal with nicely fretted out lettering.The German troops were encouraged to earn this badge as it gave them extra prestige. (J1077) A DRL Sports Badge being a maker marked Wernstein example. The badge is in very good condition and was a type of badge that was a prelude to a more military sports orientation. Very scarce to find. Recently discovered in an old tin in a garage by the subsequent house owner.

(J1426) A nice mid war example of a DRL Sports Badge in Bronze. The badge is constructed of fine zinc that has had a bronze wash applied over it. This has now toned to an olive green colour. The badge is fully maker marked to the reverse of Wernstein Jena. Given for sports that was military based, soldiers of the Wehrmacht were all encouraged to qualify for this badge. (J1485) A nice early Bronze DRL Sports Badge. The badge is maker marked Ernst Muller Pforzheim, a maker not often encountered on these badges. The badge has nice fretted out work of the lettering and is complete with a working pin and hook. Very good condition. (J1758) A nice early dark bronze DRL Sports Badge by the well known maker Wernstein. The badge is so marked. The badge also has the DRGM mark to it also. The badge has the emblem DRL fretted out to the centre with the oak leaf wreath around the edge and a swastika to the base. Given to Germans who had reached a proficient sports attainment level, this badge was slanted more to military prowess and is often seen worn on the military tunic. In very nice condition. (K191) A nice Early example of a Bronze DRL Sports Badge. The award is in a dark bronze colour with nicely fretted out work for the letters of DRL. (J1379) Sold as individuals, but part of a roll that were brought back from Berlin by a British soldier in 1945 and has been stored away up until now, the DRL Woven Badge in Silver is in virtually mint condition. The badge was worn on the blazer of DRL holders who had completed in sports events and got to a set grade. This badge has both the bevo barmen name and Ges Gesch in white threads to the base. (J799) An SA Sports Badge being a rare replacement issue, RZM M1/100 marked. There is no motto or numbering to this badge and it is the first time I have come across one of
these. The badge is magnetic and constructed in the proper manner. Manufactured like the SA war wounded, the badge can only have been an official replacement. Very scarce to
