 |  (V920) A German War Merit Cross in Bronze 2nd Class, Without Swords. The cross is an Early to mid war example that has been personalised with the arms of the cross polished, the wreath silvered and the swastika polished. The pebbling is oxidised brown. This is the first time I have seen this. The reverse is just the standard bronzed wash over base zinc. There is no ribbon loop mark. The award though is complete with a piece of ribbon. The award is a nice talking point. An item bought back by a British serviceman at the end of the war. A very attractive piece. GBP £50.00 (UK Pounds)
