Instituted on 8th July 1944

(CS1746) A German Army Balloon Observer's Badge which I feel is one of the limited reproductions made by Kleittmann in the 1960's. The badge is of hollow pressed stamping, of good quality metal, with a nice pin, hinge and hook fitting. The award mirrors the original and is virtually indistinguishable. The badge appears to have been silvered and this has tarnished. With an original costing well over 3000, at the price we have set, is very reasonable for a top knotch quality copy, which from the front, is hard to tell. GBP 375.00 ( UK Pounds)

(P85) A Nice example of the scarce to acquire 1957 Gold Balloon Badge. The badge retains virtually all of its original gilt finish although there has been a spill over of the solder used to fix the hook and pin. The badge other than this is in very good condition and has a nice gilt finish applied. Scarce to find as few soldiers survived to claim these with fewer rejoining the West German army. GBP 95.00 (UK Pounds)

(P526) A 1957 Silver Army Balloon Observer's Badge in its paper packet of issue . The badge is of nice quality being a nice Earlier 1957 example . Becoming scarce to find, especially for some of the more scarce units and with its paper packet . GBP 150.00 (UK Pounds)
