ARMY BALLOON BADGE,
Instituted on 8th July 1944

(P85) A Nice example of the scarce to acquire 1957 Gold Balloon Badge. The badge retains virtually all of its original gilt finish although there has been a spill over of the solder used to fix the hook and pin. The badge other than this is in very good condition and has a nice gilt finish applied. Scarce to find as few soldiers survived to claim these with fewer rejoining the West German army. (P526) A 1957 Silver Army Balloon Observer's Badge in its paper packet of issue . The badge is of nice quality being a nice Earlier 1957 example . Becoming scarce to find, especially for some of the more scarce units and with its paper packet . GBP £150.00 (UK Pounds)
