(V923) A German Auxillary Cruiser War Badge being a two piece example with a silver globe affixed to the zinc badge. The badge has a nice working pin, hinge and hook. The award has a nice two toned appearance to the front. There are no maker's marks that can be seen. The badge is of mid war construction and is of nice quality. This item was removed from a POW at the end of the war and came with a few other nice items, which will be listed. GBP £395.00 (UK Pounds)

(N929) A very rare to find Auxiliary Cruiser badge being the one piece stamped semi scooped out style maker marked to the reverse in raised letters Ausgef B. Wilhelm. The badge has a separately applied hinge and hook and these have rusted closed although you can still spring the pin open and closed. The zinc badge has lost most of it's original gilded finish and the silver globe has also darkened. Very few of these rare maker marked badges have turned up over the years. Very nice to find. This actual badge features in the book German Combat Awards by Alan Beadle on page 168. GBP £495.00 (UK Pounds)

(V1316) A German Auxillary Cruiser War Badge being a mid war example, maker marked FO for the firm of Fredrich Orth. The badge which shows a viking ship sailing over a silver globe, is in nice overall condition and appears to have been untouched and uncleaned for many years. The polished zinc globe has a nice silver colour to it and the viking ship and wreath have a muted gilt colour. The pin hinge and hook fitting are all working well. The badge is quite a scarce one to find now, especially being a marked example. GBP £395.00 (UK Pounds)
