(CS352) A Rumanian Pilot's Badge being of nice quality and construction with an enamel shield soldered to the centre of the badge. The shield has age staining but nothing too bad. The quality is very good. This type of badge was worn on the German tunics to pilots who served in both the Rumanian and German airforce etc. The badge has an unusual pin fixing to the reverse being a tubular style with a retaining pin dropped in the top to hold in position. (P518) A Rumanian Russian Front Medal With its Award Bar given for DNJESTR. This has two prongs to the reverse and is pushed through the ribbon. The medal itself is a nice early bronze striking by the firm of P GRANT. This is found just under the woman's head. Very nice condition and scarce to find with a bar attached. GBP £99.00 (UK Pounds)
