(NCI42) A German Knight's Cross signed Photograph that has been removed from an album. The photo has been signed by the gentleman concerned, who was a knight's cross with oakleaves winner. The reverse is inscribed Christian Braun as well as the date 15/07/1944 EL1944 NO677. There is also the name of the person the card was sent to inscribed. This all shows on the photo when held in the light. The signature has faded completely on the front. It is believed this was done wartime, but I cannot prove it. GBP £30.00 (UK Pounds) | ||

(NCI373) A German Grouping to One Man being a U-Boat Man who went on to serve on a German Cruiser. The documents consists of a U-badge Document issued on the 9.5.1942 , an Iron Cross 2nd Class Document, issued on 3.10.1942, an Iron Cross 1st Class Document being issued in July 1943, and a High Seas Fleet Badge Document issued in January 1943, for the cruiser Leibzig. With it comes a large photo album with several loose photo's of family life in Germany in the early part of the rise of national socialism. There are also some good uniform RAD shots as well as a photo of Helmut Bartholomy wearing his u-boat badge, high seas fleet badge and iron cross ribbon. There are also several photos stuck in also showing family life, and then photos of life in the German RAD, German navy. A Superb grouping not often encountered, worthy of further research. | (CS1890) A German RAD Photograph Album. The album consists of an old red and white photo album being of about 30 cm by 22 cm with several pages that have photo's stuck in. There are some notations with the first page saying RAD BRANNAU as well as the date 1/10/1941 to 31/2/41 and the album shows some RAD scenes including a parade with the regimental flag being waved, several uniform photo's, sports kits, sports vest emblems, etc. The album then moves on from the RAD to the German army from 1941, which shows several scenes both of civilian and military nature, as well as a couple of scenes showing the individual with a companion in hospital, and a few photo's at the end with his wife or girlfriend and that he is holder of a wound badge and infantry assault badge in silver and what appears to be the iron cross and a Russian front cross.There are 120 + photographs in the album. There are also several notations written in album throughout. It is nice to see a genuine service album that has been unmessed about with.
