(V1862) An Early German Customs Cross complete with its wide ribbon of issue. The cross comes in a privately purchased Case that is a vacuum sealed example with a black external leatherette covering, with a white silk underside lid and a red base with two compartments, one for the ribbon and one for the cross. The cross is a nice early bronze striking in very nice overall condition. It is the slimmer manufactured type and is of superb quality. There are no maker's marks to it. The ribbon has its original eagle emblem embroidered into it, which is not often found these days. Very rare set to find. GBP £535.00(UK Pounds) | ||
