(CS371) A Very Rare grouping of items to a German national who served with the Finnish armed forces between 1941-1944. The grouping consists of his Passport, Personal Diary, Finnish Service Book and Record Sheet. The name of the man is H Zimmermann and there is a photograph of him in Finnish army uniform with the rank of a company sergeant major. This is a very rare grouping to find as it doesn't often happen this way round, with mostly Finns serving in German units. Included in the grouping is his diary which goes up to 1944, where he went on leave to Berlin. His passport has him in scout uniform and his Finnish service record book shows him in civilian clothing. This is a superb grouping, worthy of further research, which would be quite a lengthy and interesting project, which should answer why he was where he was.
