(T171) A Cased Eastern People's Award 1st Class in Silver with swords. Although the award has toned silver, there does appear to be traces of gold to it. I feel this is more of a lacquer than gilding, but the pin, hinge and hook are also gold in colour. The emblem however, on the lid, is silver. If the award was a gold one, obviously it would be worth more, so we have priced it as a silver. GBP 275.00 (UK Pounds)

(T172) An Eastern Peoples 2nd Class Medal in Silver With Swords. This is a standard textbook example manufactured by the maker 100 and marked as such on the medal loop. The medal is silver plated over base zinc and as such, these awards were given to both Cossacks and Germans in these Russian units. The award is complete with its original pin fixing, which is sewn to the ribbon. Very nice to find. This was part of a group picked up by someone who was obviously in charge of de-nazification or had light fingers! GBP 100.00 (UK Pounds)

(CS1417) An Ostvolk Award in Gold being a classic textbook example, with a countersunk hinge and hook which is then soldered into position. This type of award is usually marked 100, but this example is unmarked. The award is without swords. It retains much of its gold finish, approximately 98%. The pin, hinge and hook work perfectly. The award was given to Eastern Peoples and even Nordic volunteers, as well as Germans, who fought in the crusade against communism. This is a rare badge to acquire. GBP 265.00 (UK Pounds)

(S894) A Gold 1st Class Ostvolk or eastern Peoples award. The Award is with swords and as such is for combat. The award rates higher than a first class Iron Cross . The award has faded over the years and only the pin is really bright gilt in colour now . scarce to find GBP 195.00 (UK Pounds)

(M1019) A late war grey zinc Silver washed Eastern People's Medal of Merit 1st Class. The award is in nice condition overall, although the zinc has pulled in the silver wash. Given to both Germans and the Ostvolk, these silver decorations were equal to either an Iron Cross or War Merit Cross 1st Class. Becoming increasingly hard to find. GBP 195.00 (UK Pounds)

(N950) An Ostvolk 2nd Class Medal of Merit in Silver. In very nice condition, the award comes with its original ribbon, unfortunately the pin is missing. The award was given to members of the Eastern People's Units as well as German Personnel that served in these units, although they could only qualify for the silver grades. The 2nd class and 1st class in silver equates to an iron cross 2nd and 1st class respectively and these awards were held in high esteem by the Germans who won them. Priced for pin missing. GBP 110.00 (UK Pounds)
