A German Coburg Badge
(CS1744) A Very Rare example of a German Coburg Badge made from zinc and with a little pinback fixing often found on party badges. The badge shows very nice die work and appears to have been Bronzed over base zinc, though this has now faded. Given to a few of Hitler's followers who took part in the Cobug battle of 1922 where a train was actually hired to go to Coburg. The award was issued only approximately 500 times and is very sought after by collectors.
We believe the badge comes from a Funeral Pillow GBP £ 3500.00 (UK Pounds)
