Third Reich Medals offer
A German Replacement Early Knights Cross of the Iron Cross

(GH28) A Nice example of an Early 1957 Knight's Cross. The cross has an iron centre which is the second pattern type with the short oakleaves. The silver frame is nicely soldered up and has the die flaw both to the 4 o clock arm and the duck fault to the top 3 o clock arm point. There is also the secondary fault to the 9 o clock to the beading also, making this a wartime type frame, according to some experts. The frame is nicely soldered up and hand finished and you have an 800 silver mark under the loop, The loop is a brass wire type . Also with the cross is a 1957 Mini Para badge that has been pushed into the lid of the case. and there is also a part 1957 chain set with a Para, Gold Wound the Iron Cross 2nd and F1st Class and the German Cross in gold. This originally came with the cross in the case. The case is an earlyer post war type with a silk and foam top and glows under UV light. A nice and scarce cross complete with its post war ribbon. Not seen very often now . GBP 850.00 (UK Pounds)
