A German Oakleaves to the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross
(MC961) A Nice Set of Early Postwar German Oak Leaves to the Knights Cross. The oakleaves are of standard Steinhauer & Luck construction and appear to be silver plated, as there is no mark that I can see. The oakleaves have the little fault to the righthand leaf, of excess metal, which is accepted as making them postwar manufacture. The quality and cut out and workmanship is very good. The oakleaves come in a reproduction case that both sets them off and protects them, with a piece of modern knight's cross ribbon. This is a very nice display set, that from the front, with out a magnifying glass, you would be hard pressed to tell if they are wartime or not. GBP £195.00
