A Very Nice example of a wartime unmarked Knight's Cross

(P667) A Very Nice example of a wartime unmarked Knight's Cross. The cross is an unmarked Steinhauer and Luck example with a nice clean frame, with no webbing to the beading. The core on this example is non-magnetic and believed to be of zinc manufacture. To the righthand bottom corner of the cross, it has the little dots in the frame on the beaded arm, as can be seen from the scan. The ribbon loop is marked 800. The cross's centre rattles slightly. The cross is nicely soldered and handfinished and comes complete with a piece of original wartime ribbon that has not been mounted or sewn up. The piece is approximately 17 inches long. The overall condition of the cross is near mint and is an unworn example. SORRY I WAS SOLD IN 2018 GBP 2995.00 (UK Pounds)
