A German WWI Colonial Veterans Organisation Badge in Silver
(T857) A German WWI Colonial Veterans Organisation Badge in Silver. The badge shows a lion to the centre, with a palm tree behind him, with his paw on the hat often worn by German colonial troops. This is in turn, over two crossed swords with an oakleaf base and a star arising from this. A similar example to this can be found in the last Niemann catalogue on page 119. The badge is in near mint condition and is very scarce to find .It comes in a Red case with a jewellers name under the lid on white silk and has a red flocked base . The case is opened by a press stud. The Jewellers Name is Carl Thomass from Munich. SORRY I HAVE SOLD 1.2.25
