A German / Polish Volksdeutsch Badge
(V1847) A Very Rare to find Polish Volksdeutsch Badge being for the West Prussia ethnic Germans. The badge consists of an oakleaf wreath with a cross and a swastika. Very little is known about this award, though I did managed to find an article showing a picture in German of a man wearing this badge described as a Reichsgau Danzig West Prussian Badge instituted in 1940. The article was by a Norber Leide and shows the front and back of the badge and a picture of the man wearing said award. Very rare, not even listed in the gau books. I know of no others in collections or for sale. More rare than a Knight's Cross. SORRY I SOLD ON 17.7.24 FOR GBP £1100.00 (U K POUNDS)
