A German Officer's Single SS Bullion Collar Patch

(V311) A Superb Example of a German Waffen SS Runic Collar Patch. The edged silver patch, which has a three corded border sewn around the edge of a buckram black cloth, has to the centre, two silver runic letters of the lightning strike to form the SS letters. These are nice and tight, with only minimal loss of silver to the chords, as can be seen from the scan. To the reverse, the patch has the maker's label still intact, with the RZM, the SS and the D logo etc. One of the nicest patches we have had, this one was carefully removed from a tunic and would be the star piece of many SS collections.
