A German Wound Badge in Black for 1939-1945

(V834) A German Black Wound Badge by the Scarcely encountered maker L/54. This example of wound badge is of mid war construction and quality and is a non-magnetic example. The badge which appears to have been used and worn, still retains a high percentage of its black painted finish, with only minor wear to the swastika. The badge to the reverse, has a working pin, hinge and hook and has the L/54 mark to the bottom lefthand side of the steel helmet. A nice variation to acquire, in overall nice condition.
