A film version of an German SS Officer's Tunic

(V3100) A film version of an German SS Officer's Tunic being a Obersturmbannfuhrer. The tunic has 5 buttons to the front with 4 patch pockets affixed. The tunic is modelled on the M36 style and has a green collar fitted to which is the SS runic patch and rank patch fitted. There are also some slip on epps with buttons attached that are piped in green. To the reverse of the tunic, there is a tailor's label sewn to the back, with tailor's codes etc marked onto it. There is a cloth embroidered SS arm eagle and then there is a Russian front ribbon affixed to the second buttonhole. The inside of the tunic is lined and it is also marked NVA 261383203 M48 as well as a couple of other markings, denoting it is an East German tunic that has been converted. The tunic is in overall nice condition and has had the arms extended, with cuffs added. It is believed that this tunic was ex BBC and used in the tv series "Private Schultz", starring Michael Elphick and Ian Richardson. This is scarce to find and really well made.
