A German General Assault Badge

(V3197) A mid to late war German General Assault Badge by the well known maker Rudolf Souval. The badge has to the reverse, the raised letters R.S. in the rounded style and has a nice working pin, hinge and hook fitting. As usual for this, the hinge is to the back of the eagle's shoulders. The badge is of silver plated zinc, though the silver has dropped in places as ca be seen from the scan, giving a nice two toned appearance. Scarce to find.
