A German Imperial Court Mounted Group
(V4658) A German Imperial Court Mounted Group of 3 consisting of the Bavarian War Merit Cross With Swords, the Iron Cross 2nd Class for 1914 and the veteran league medal. This is all pinned on a piece of card with part of an original citation. All the medals are nice and clean and appear to be period. The iron cross is unusual in the fact that it is more reminiscent of the frame pattern of WWII than the WWI cross. All in all, a nice grouping.
