A BRITISH UNION OF FASCIST "TRUE TILL DEATH" BADGE
(V2096) A British Union of Fascist or BUF as commonly abbreviated, Early Tradition Badge "True till Death." in red enamel to the base This BUF badge is in very nice condition with no enamel damage and has an early quality pre-war pin fixing to the reverse Modelled on the "For Merit" badges, these badges are somewhat of a mystery. Rumoured to be pre-war, some state they are post war, but what is known is that they are very scarce and few have survived. It has been suggested by some that these badges were given to family members of BUF members who died, either in the course of their duties, or in service of the BUF. No documentation as far as I am aware, has come forward and as most of the members have now passed away, I fear we will never know. Very Rare to find. SORRY I SOLD ON 20.2.2024 V
