A 2nd Pattern German Blood Order Medal
(V303) A Very Rare example of a 2nd Pattern German Blood Order Medal. The award is the 800 silver marked type with the issue number 3122 stamped below the monument. The medal is nicely oxidised with the edge being burnished by a buffer wheel and has minor scratches viewable under a glass, as they should be. The medal comes with its original ribbon that doesn't glow or contain nylon, but is not mounted for buttonhole wear. With the award comes a small file of photocopies regarding an Alois Deutsch who was a former functionary of the NSDAP in Austria. The paperwork relates to his charges and statement before the public prosecutor in Graz Austria. There are several sheets dealing with this, the fact that he took part in the 1934 Putsch against the State in Austria and received a 10 month prison sentence. It shows he was very active in the NSDAP. His wife was named Maria and gives her address of the time. There are also many many pages that need translating. An interesting research project. All in very good condition. More rare than a Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. SORRY I AM SOLD 13.3.23
