(NCI209) A German made Spanish Blue Medal in its Rare Paper Packet of Issue. The medal is a late war zinc example thathas a lot of its original gilt finish. The award is of standard construction with a cast in eye ring with a separately applied loop, which in this case is unmarked. The award comes complete with its original ribbon and is nice and clean. The rare paper packet shows minor wear and tear. The award's paper packet has the original title printed to the front and the maker's name to the reverse, being Deschler. GBP £325.00 (UK Pounds) | ||

(V3110) A German Made Spanish Blue Medal of die cast zinc that is lightly gilded. The medal is maker marked 1 on the ribbon loop for the firm of Deschler. As is usual with these, the gilding has toned a darker colour. Given to the Spanish who came and helped the Germans for pay back for the Spanish Civil war. (V2082) A Homemade Spanish Armshield being removed from a jacket and stuck into an album. The shield came with the previous victory medal (V2081). The shield is of reasonable quality and construction and is mounted onto a black cloth backing. Definitely not of German manufacture, but of high Spanish quality.
