(RGC1) A Very Rare Finnish Badge being the badge for American Volunteers in the Finnish armed forces 1939-1940. Like many countries, Americans also served in the war in Finland against Russia and just like the Danish cross, this was also a made and awarded badge to the American volunteers. This badge has a rarety rating from 1-5 as number 5, the rarest of all, rarer than a Knight's Cross in fact, as there were fewer than 200 American volunteers serving. The badge is hallmarked 813H to the reverse and has nice blue enamel with two crossed rifles and the initials ASL and the date 1939-1940 to it. This is approximately 10 mm by 20 mm in size. The last one I know that sold, was over ten years ago for over 6000 Euro, This is a Commision Sale and REAL OFFER`s ONLY
